He really had better hope Just Blaze can string together verses to make songs for him again because other than getting a million dollar producer to hype him, I'm not seeing the potential after Exhibit C. He's cool, but he hasn't reached the potential I thought he had after Exhibit A and C.

I don't even download dudes raps like that anymore after listening once.

idk how that shyt came about either, k dot was clearly rapping on the jay E track, like, his verse was clearly meant for the beat. i don't know when it was released. dear moleskin came out officially 2012. i don't know when that kendrick verse is from. he didn't put that on a tape or nothin as far as i know.

the demo version that leaked does have room for that second verse tho. jay never filled it himself.

the jay verse on the mac album was aight but nowhere close to his best. he's spit better and come up with better metaphors. there's really no discernable allegory to his narrative that comes from these bars about the wizard of oz.

"finally some water for these cracked lips" tho. i feel it's just getting some praise because it's the first time he's rapped in awhile.

honestly though, i do see jay coming through with a feature on yeezus. he's been writing/around that crowd. i really could see something like a verse on yeezus, a verse on jay's next album, and then we could finally see something about act II. it's a pipe dream but given his track record of working with them lately it's not out of the realm of possibility.

It was much better than the TDBD verse though.
