was T Mac not playing with a great center in Houston already? shaq was kinda out his prime when he was in Miami
Yao was putting up great numbers around that time too, better than shaq's

hmmmmmmm not sure if your serious by comparing yao's numbers to shaq's.

go back and have a look at 00-02 shaq then compare his numbers, impact, and dominance vs yao's

:mjpls:

It's hard to overstate how awesome Wade was in leading the Heat to their lone championship, particularly in the final four games when Miami rallied from a 2-0 deficit to stun the Mavs.
Wade started the comeback by leading the Heat back from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit in Game 3, scoring 12 points in the final 6½ minutes to send the game to OT. He also made the biggest play of the series with his crazy dribbling foray to the rim at the end of overtime in Game 5 that -- controversially -- earned a whistle from referee Bennett Salvatore and a trip to the line for the winning free throws.
For the series, Wade averaged 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals -- and this in a slow-paced series (neither team cleared the century mark in regulation in any of the six games). His basket attacks were so deadly because the Mavs couldn't stop fouling him. Wade shot a whopping 97 free throws in the six games -- the most of any player since the merger -- including 25 in Game 5.
Overall, Wade's 33.8 PER is easily the best of any Finals performer since the merger. While it seems strange to have somebody besides Michael Jordan in the top spot, the truth is Jordan never dominated a Finals to this extent. At the time, many called Wade's performance Jordanesque. It turns out they might have been selling him short.

Are you serious breh?:usure:

Michael Jordan in 1991: 31.2 ppg, 6.6 rebs, 11.4 assts, 2.8 stls, and 1.4 blks
Michael Jordan in 1992: 35.8 ppg, 4.8 rebs, 6.5 assts, 1.7 stls
Michael Jordan in 1993: 41.0 ppg, 8.5 rebs, 6.3 assts, 1.7 stls

All 3 of Jordan's first 3 appearances were better than Wade's Finals against the Mavs

"TMAC AND REGGIE WOULD HAVE WON RINGS PLAYING WITH SHAQ TOO."

wade played with shaq from 04-05 to 07-08

so why are you bring up shaq numbers from 00-02?

We're talking about peak Shaq and Tmac would've won the 06 title in wade's place as well. Reggie would not have won with a washed up shaq but i could see them winning in 00 and 01, when shaq was unstoppable

he's made no valid points so far tho
lol at you being a forum cheerleader :russ:

You have made no points at all.

All you've posted is other people's statements and opinions:ufdup:

a list is being discussed about the "Next 10 Greatest players"

the names on the list that are UNANIMOUS include: (not in order btw)

Kobe
Duncan
Dirk
Iverson
LeBron
KG

that's 6

after that is were the debate happens

Chuck and everyone else says reggie miller should be on list
Shaq says T Mac and Ray Allen should be on list

both them and c web say wade is not on said list

*C Web brings up him playing with shaq and LeBron like a forum faq :stopitslime:*
im sure they would have had the greatest finals series performance in NBA history too :mjpls:
they do, but wade had the #1 greatest finals performance of all time whether you like it or not :yeshrug:
are you implying miller/ t mac/ ray allen are greater than d wade?

And then the post I quoted which was someone ELSE's opinion which is easily refutable:umad:

You have not made 1 single point in here:yeshrug:

Nope

MJ = Best finals performer EVER.

Wade's 06 finals is top 5 of all time

1. 91 jordan
2. 93 Jordan
3. 92 Jordan
4. 00 Shaq
5. 06 Wade/01 Shaq/86 bird/87 magic/95 dream

you can argue for any of those in that 5 spot

wade didn't play with a peak shaq so why would we be discussing that?

now the narrative is changing
the fact that YOU think its top 5 gives my initial response validation

yo it is amazing to me to watch a room full of people who played the game at a superstar level just completely expose themselves. either they're just bein super political with it or they just caught up in they own hype.

chris webber don't deserve to be on the list, period. great player, talent through the roof, but he always shrunk in the big moments. this the same guy who once referred to the kings as "vlade's team" despite being far and away their best player. and everyone knows when the chips were down that team looked to bibby, not chris, to bail them out. yea the kings got a raw deal by the refs but if chris were as good a leader as he is a player, he'd have a ring to show for it.

and scust at the blatant disrespect towards d-wade and steve nash, 2 guys who are UNQUESTIONABLY among the 10 best players since the nba 50 team was announced.
