So you don't understand why black people wouldn't attached themselves to a character that starts from the bottom of America and climbs to the top completely outside of the American capitalistic system?

And I think Scarface is overrated.

You keep making threads with questions you aren't actually interested in answering.

Slightly overrated movie that got hyped up by rappers basically

The movie was hyped up before the rappers hype because it was Hollywood's golden child Al Pachino in a violent gangster flick. WPIX made a big deal about it being a 2 day event every year they would play it as the 8 o clock movie in the 80's and 90's. I still remember the cut off point for the first day being Tony seeing his sister go into the bathroom with that sinister music playing in the background and it would cut off with him staring right before he leaves the table.

It’s important to note that Tony was never a real trapper. nikka was doing all that side quest gangster shyt. He never had the discipline or patience to work and run no spots like that. He had no choice but to be a wholesaler, he got connected by killing nikkas and shyt, not by being known for selling work. And no business sense to be a real factor cause he fukking over super plugs like Sosa. nikka what you doing, Sosa got them bricks for real and he connected smh. Then when it came to Frank soft ass, Tony more worried bout a bytch than them bricks.

He was not a real trapaholic and they need to stop acting like he was one of them ones

Ain’t no black people in that movie. I understand the rags to riches part but they could’ve threw a brotha in the movie. There were no black people in Miami in the 80s? I understand the Cuban refuge rise to power plot line.

You said you didn't understand why black people love the movie.

I'm explaining to you why they do in spite of no black people being in the movie.

Once again, you love making threads you don't actually want answers to.

Na I mean I’m trying to understand the year 1983 there were no black people in the movie. At what point was this movie universally loved by the black community. I was born in 1985. Was our people going to the movies to see this back then? I’m trying to understand when did it become popular?

You did the same thing with a Nipsey thread where you claimed he wasn't as popular as he was until he died, then claimed you were just trying to be put on to his music after you got negged.

You usually shift your intentions of a thread once people provide more explanation.
