dude is going on and on about Amy Winehouse. When she stole her whole swag from black female soul singers of the sixties

Oh most def. I think the problem is is that people aren't really fans of music like that so Amy Winehouse is amazing to them in the modern context. Then they also compare her to rihanna like she's the most talented blakc singer out. Its pretty interesting.

I notice that many white cultures lack percussion and rhythmic tempo in their music.

I think this is one of the main reasons why most have a hard time keeping up with the rhythm of the beat.

But it depends on the person not the race.

1. not a dude.
2. So what? Soooooo much people "stole" swag from soul singers of the sixties. Black and white. But Amy's inspiration from black singers = stealing and black peoples inspiration is well inspiration :comeon:That was a fantastic era for music. And with amy's type of voice, she couldn't of fit into a better genre then jazz and and soul. I do not acknowledge race when it comes to music I think is dope

Yall act like Amy was an exact clone of 60's soul singers and didn't develop her own uniqueness of her own and everything she did was "stolen". Don't give her that Elvis syndrome. She was extremely unique. I'm not about discrediting fantastic musicians just because of their race. Everybody steals swag and whatnot from past work. That's what music is about. Making things from the past evolve into something that fits in more modern settings. Every race does it.

Brooklyn. I'm black. I really need to be questioned of my race because I can acknowledge white people that make good music to me? Yall need to stop acting like white people only make mediocre music and black people only put out exceptional music. Because this is a myth.
