Can you be good comedian, rapper without cussing

I saw a Gary V talk where he discussed why he cussed. But my question is is cussing the easy route in the arts. Like if he funny or rap without cussing is that harder? Or is the arts better with cussing? There are some exceptions like sinbad and i think rapper oddisee dont cuss.
