For regular people there’s nothing wrong with some kind of deadlift variation. It’s a very important movement pattern, just find what’s best for your biomechanics.Maybe with the barbell since that part is unnatural..but it's probably the closest lift to stuff people do in real life (picking up heavy boxes, moving furniture). Using the back, legs, core etc.Honestly, i think deadlifts are useless af. Especially the standard barbell way.
