Can you draw?

I've downloaded a ton of tutorials for a variety of things. Different art styles, certain types of scene. Composition, colors, lighting, etc.

At the very least, I've become a lot more knowledgeable about art.

Have you ever tried to just do your own thing? I used to draw non conventionally for years. In art class when the teacher would "teach" us I kind of just would draw. If that makes sense

I needed help breh. Hahaha. I have horrible penmanship for example so drawing 101, draw straight lines, circles and some ellipses.

I'm creative in many aspects of my life but I'm very left brained. Also, now, I'm working through a tutorial that is teaching me both drawing in photoshop and learning how to maximize use of the program itself.

I got a question for you though if you're drawing do you just draw straight lines? Technically if you do the short light strokes and sketch out your work you dont need to draw straight lines you kind of just create them as you go. If that makes sense

I feel you. I've sort of gravitated to this approach somewhat and with Photoshop, I can do my chicken scratch strokes and then the harder lines on top of them with another layer.

Initially, I was trying to do the stuff where you can draw from the shoulder, elbow and wrist. I just settled on what is most comfortable and that's predominantly from the wrist. That said, I do switch up how I hold the drawing pen when I draw. When I'm just writing, I use my thumb, pointer, middle and ring finger to control what I'm writing with. Drawing? It's just thumb, pointer and ring. For some reason, it provides better comfort.

I Just doodled this, killing time before I go out with my son and work on basketball drills with him. I like drawing logos. Quick to do.

I had to do a bunch of stuff and got interviewed, put in the magazine and locals. I asked for anonymity but they still threw up my face shot lol. It got me a little earner more traffic to my social media page, generally it was a productive move. Some other stuff asked for more pictures of works I did like over 10 years ago now wow!! The ones below I no longer own and I added the press shot they used of me it's a lot better than the one with a full grown beard and grandma joke glasses i uploaded to the coli like 10 years ago too wow!? Time moves quick.

I got a bunch but for the images above I used QWEN but all are good for upscaling and editing and stuff.

It can only help for the better.

I write a lot of stories I've written so many scripts and now thanks to AI I can turn them into animation much quicker and cheaper as well as release others as graphic novels. It just helps monetize and utilize your creative impulses. LIke you said you can get to test darts and attempts before wasting time or finances on projects. A lot of creatives I know have embraced AI and I do not think real artist will ever die, paintings will always be welcomed like all the arts.
