theres no way I could hit a major league pitch into fair play, most people here who say they could are lying or misinformed about the difficulties of this task. If a pitcher slipped and hit me, i could perhaps get on base. So, a < .1% chance
In addition to this, the scouting report on the coli member stepping in the batter's box would indicate to the pitcher that the guy holding the bat ain't shyt. So the odds of them pitching carefully enough to walk you drop dramatically.

:heh: @ some random person thinking they can get a hit off of a MLB pitcher. It would be hard for them to walk you because they would have absolutely no reason not to just simply throw upper 80 to mid 90 fastballs right down the middle of the plate

I hit the batting cage machines during the summer, I can hit 80's …. so if it's Maddux throwing to me…. MAYBE!!!

Now if

takes the mound… Then i'm gonna strike out HORRIBLY!!!

It depends on the pitch sequence.

If that first pitch is up and in ... Im dead in the water the rest of the at bat

:heh: @ guys thinking they'll get walked.

You're not Matt Kemp, or Miggy Cabrera. They wouldn't have any reason to miss hitting the strike zone against you

:laff:

A starting pitcher would throw you fast balls right down the middle and dare you to swing. Yeah, you could get walked, but how often do pitchers in the National League get walks opposed to striking out or just have flat out terrible at bats?

I still play and face guys that throw in the 80s, but just 1 game? Maybe 4 plate appearances? Against elite breaking balls? Ehh...I dunno

Don't Believe the Hype
I picked "Maybe, on a fluke" because the at bat would last, at most, three pitches because I'd be up there from the gate swinging as hard as I could. Honestly, if I had a foul tip I'd be somewhat proud of myself.

I wonder what it's like to have an at bat against a knuckleballer.
