Can You guys help me pick a car (Craiglist)

I have been researching these cars all day and there all about proper blue book price, but i hate when people review them its 1 person who loved it and 1 person who hated it, so could you guys give me some insight.
Im 18 so right now I am just trying to go for something that can drive but isn't old so I'm looking in the early 00's

It doesn't matter to me if its a female car or not, but I have been driving in a 97 mercury sable but its my parents and I want to drive something of my own, I just want dependable right now

my dude trust me you say that now but once you start driving in it your going to change your mind after a while...then you spent that money for nothing and couldve put that money towards a car that will get you the hoes...

My goal is to be able to travel from destinations safely
I'll worry about getting females later

I just dont think it's right for me to use my parents car, I need my own.
