i never like baseball but I loved reading the boxscores and team stats as a kid.

the numbers just looked cool

every sunday, the paper used to have this big ass 3-4 page layout with all the stats for whatever league was in season....young stat nerd christmas

There's dudes who hit 40 hr last year that I've never heard of. I don't watch baseball at all. I'll go to a game or 2 each summer. That's about it.
