But also Because there are a lot of women who believe that sex or lust = love due to the lack of love shown we received from our fathers or families. That coupled with low self esteem can breed women that seek validation and love through sex.

When I was younger I was so ignorant that Id act as if I felt like a guy showing interest in my sexually meant he liked me and wanted to date me. Even if I didn't want to give it up, I would because I felt like he wouldn't like me anymore if I didn't. I'd guilt myself into it.

Not every person comes from a loving or healthy home, hence why don't know what showing love actually is. So we confuse other things for it.
