Can you tell the difference between the average ADOS and West African person at a glance?

most african-Americans/ADOS have softer/watered down features from being mixed with whites at some point. (Most, not all, theres exceptions on both sides)

OT genesis is someone who you can immediately tell is probably not African American, he has very strong features.

we are all beautiful tho, and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

He looks exactly like my AA cousin

I think our look overlaps with West Africans mostly.

Not that much. That's why they we are able to move around covertly to undermine the black American community. :troll:

But nah, probably depends on how much Euro genes someone has. You are not going to find nikkas that look like this :dwillhuh: in West Africa, but there are a tona of :mjtf: look alikes all over the continent.

I can tell when someone is Jamaican 90% of the time I don't know why. Nigerian's do kind of have similar features as well in my opinion. My parents are from smaller islands though and some Indian randomly knew I was West Indian without me saying anything and asked me about Cricket. At my HBCU, nobody knew unless I told them. So I think it all depends.

Unless they have features that give them up I honestly can't tell :yeshrug: until I interact with them.

Sometimes fashion and demeanor gives it up though.

Carribeans, Congolese, liberians and some Nigerians are even harder to tell esp if they were born here. I can spot a Ghanaian from a mile away though lol.
you might be right with liberia

most people don't even know I'm Liberian until I say my first name

Last time I was in NY some breh assumed I was american, same thing happened over here when some american breh tourist asked me for directions. Or maybe he was one of those who are surprised to see black people in Europe and assume they're/we're also US tourists, who knows. I'm mixed myself : people confuse me with all kinds of nationalities/origins, including people who think I'm from the same country as they are lmao

Yes, most of the time due to the reasons people have talked about.

However, my dad gets mistaken for West African when he's not. There's no evidence of Euro admixture in his family tree as far as we know.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
We all the same to anyone who isn't black though. :yeshrug:ask breh who got shot at 41 times if the police cared if he was ados or not.

Which is ignorance on their part. Go up to an Italian in Brooklyn and accuse him of being Russian. You’ll get smacked with a bat.
