i appreciate it bro. i am still trying to find a stand i know i like the oil paintings the abstract expression but i love the hiphop illustrative pictures and no one is really doing hiphop paintings so i am trying to do some groovey street-art with oil paintings.

oh nah...it’s still fukk you for some of the views you’ve expressed on here and most of your paintings...but that one is really pleasing to the eyes tho imo...I think I’ve said it before but your paintings look better to me when you don’t use the thin black outlines and instead “blend” together...also I like this one bcuz she doesn’t look like a racist caricature...I’m not saying that’s your intention with your other paintings but they do remind me of those type of drawings unfortunately

cool. the images are my style that extends the features of peoples to make it look distorted instead of regular. same for the backgrounds and velocity i use with the paint. i appreciate the critique reason i like it because you dont always get to hear the real from friends, family or face to face.

this is actually an artistic style used by black artist. it’s called post-black. they use uncomfortable stereotypical themes within their art. It’s like an artistic reclaiming of the word nikka.

Kara Walker for example using salacious images of masters, pickaninnys, and hangings.

Or Zanele Muholi using black face, big lips, and other minstrel characteristics.

lots of black artist are doing it now a days. it’s suppose to make you feel uncomfortable and confront the reasons behind the uncomfortableness. But that it’s a part of a history of blackness and that we need to embrace it. Kinda like how some believe we need to stop being ashamed of liking chicken and watermelon or other stereotypically black shyt.

i dont have an instagram at the moment i am waiting to get woven labels and a better camera, prints, the whole works that way i can showcase my best work with full presentation.
