As long as you got an unlocked i5 you are fine

I got the 3570K, but my motherboard doesn't support overclocking

I couldn't find a mini ITX board with overclock support that had enough sata connections for all my hard drives at the time. I'll probably look for a motherboard/cpu combo next year.

Your i5 is on par with the "8-Core" cpu they are recommending, if anything it'll be your GPU holding you down so kill that noise.
