pretty much, that's why it may be cliched to say but you gotta enjoy every day, every moment in life.
I had a friend i went to hs with just die last year of cancer only 28, found out when it was to late due to a dr misdiagnosed. Was healthy went to the gym and all that. You can drive to work tomorrow and be in a car accident or some drunk driver runs a red light and poof, hop on a plaen and it goes down, go to the mall or school and some crazy fakkit with a gun goes haywire and takes you out. We all think we got till at least our 50s then maybe cancer or a heart attack takes us out, or 60s or 70s or 80s because our grandparents lived that long but you never know.
Dude prob had a weekend trip with the buddies or his girl planned the odds of getting killed at the war memorial in the capital of canada is SLIM, ottawa has only had 4 murders this year and they were domestic or known to police gangster type.
That's why I always say do what you want to do now, want to travel on that europe trip do it now next summer ain't guaranteed. That's why I don't even hold grudges against people anymore, I don't want to live wiht any guilt if they croak and die that I wished i forgave or osme ish

Secondly, dude was not pure and didn't have a full comprehension of islam and our teachings.
