i stayed at quality inn when i went last time paid like 80 bucks, weekends are more pricey as people come into town to go clubbing/gambling. Parking is free on the street after 9pm which is a bonus

I've never bet at a casino in canada, i use offshore accounts its legal here
plus we can just go to our convenience store and do parlay bets (3 teamers), like you can cross the border and go to a gas station or convenient store and do proline

Not worth visiting but not a bad place to live (at least until the big 3 went under). I think theyve had the highest unemployment rate in Canada since the recession started. Not much to do outside the casino and a strip of clubs in the downtown area. The best thing by far is the location. One of the best places in Canada weather wise (not saying much) and right across from Detroit for shopping/visiting. Really safe too...I think they get like 1 murder a year and basically no petty crime.
