Love them or hate them, i know they made good and bad decisions when they were in power, I know they were/are not the best prime ministers ever in our young country’s history , but at least Harper, Jean chrétien, Brian Mulroney and Justin Trudeau people were/ are proud and patriotic Canadians. Despite their flaws as humans and as leaders, they wanted to improve their country for the better. They had/have sincere and serious emotional attachment to the great white north. They would never surrender Canada to vulgar, delusional and incompetent maga fascist oligarchs.

To be honest with you, I don’t even like Trudeau that much. Canada suffered a lot of under his reign. But at least he shows that he has a backbone when bullies like trump try to intimidate him. He wants to preserve the sovereignty and dignity of our country. By contrast, Polievre is all smiles with Musk and he’s more than willing to cooperate with the deplorable maga regime south of the border.

This was easily the biggest home-run for an all-star weekend we have seen in a long time. Not sure if something like this would work as well in other leagues. With the caliber of players and intensity, you couldn't tell if this was the Olympics or an all-star format. The NHL got complete buy in from the players as well.

We'll see if this transfers to more viewers for the NHL as this could be an in the moment thing for you casual viewer, but this was an awesome event.
