Therefore outside of few cases it is not practical. A lot of time patients sent to end of life care suffer from things like dementia, Alzheimer's or other mental issues in addition to their physical condition (cancer, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, etc). This makes them incapable of signing their death.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but the provincial govt is simply mandating this facility carry out medically assisted death for those patients that request it. Not forcefully terminate all their patients.
