Yup,where you could just show up and get a 80k a year job . where folks would work 20 straight days then fly back home for a week it was utopia for $$$

But it was hard hit last year and many folks got laid off

may have been mentioned but isn't this that make-shift Oil Sands city in Canada that blew the hell up in no time at all? Everyone was flocking to there 4-5 years ago to cake up? Grand opening / grand closing?

Looks like a movie, cept it ain't.

After my adventure i encouraged my sis and mom to go out west

My sis is a teacher now and my mom works in the hospital so they were doing well. Now their apartment building is probably gonna be enflamed but they at least got their certs up in a place where it is easy to. Ironically Im supposed to go to Ft Mac at the end of this month but...

:mjlol:

Like I fold the other breh, the new wave is BC for the outrageous jobs. The pipeline needs a port and thats the next Saskatoon where I was at.

Friend of mine moved from Alberta to BC a few years back. Working on a project site somewhere in the hinterlands. BC looks beautiful :wow: Those Vancouver housing prices though :whoa:
