I just stopped by Shopper's (we call it Pharmaprix in Québec) earlier & they had .99 cent canned tuna, $2.49 for a dozen eggs, .99 cent sour cream & $4.99 for 450g cheese to name a few deals.

It depends on each store, prices vary, and usually most sales are Friday-Sunday but you can also find good deals during the week.
