for the record Canada has always been strong in R&B
and the R&B here was always quality and played across the border even when Canadian hip hop was not crossing over. If you look at those artists most of them played right along your favorites in the 90's and 2000's up until weeknd and Drake. So you can thank Drake for making Canadian hip hop relevant but not R&B.
