Any information you have on African slavery pre TAST slavery would be appreciated.

The fact that the first Africans in the New World weren't slaves tells it all. They became indentured servants at first and after that slaves and from there chattel slaves. The MAAFA (TAST) is unlike any other slavery in history. RACE BASED!

"In 1619 the first black Africans came to Virginia. With no slave laws in place, they were initially treated as indentured servants, and given the same opportunities for freedom dues as whites. However, slave laws were soon passed – in Massachusetts in 1641 and Virginia in 1661 –and any small freedoms that might have existed for blacks were taken away."

If yall think there wasnt a whole system of slavery... however u want to spin it... before a white faced muthafuka stepped foot on that continent... then u dont know what the fukk ur talking about.

People trying to spin it as "it wasn't as brutal"... "indentured servitude"

Nah... ur ass has to convert to even be respected as a person.

To this day there exist an element of racism/ colorism in the Arab Muslim world because of that.

But why we never talk about the African Empires built off selling slaves.

We just like to overlook that.

My point is... the shyt is way deeper than.
"Ohh, the white people hate us. They made us slaves"

Then everybody hates u cause everybody from the jews to muslims, to Spaniards enslaved ur ass... with the help of ur own people.

Because we need to talk about it. This is getting out of hand and is very dangerous. Acting as if it doesn't exist is fooling ourselves. I went in that thread to see/ read the comment section and there are folks who agree with her garbage.

She's been spewing the same trash for years which are just rehashed talking points of the c00ns that came before her

What's there to talk about? Her logical fallacies?

The twitter thread comment section? Thank god that isn't real life. If I see a twitter/fb account with highly incendiary/reactionary views they're usually bots. Can't stress it.

African and Muslim slavery and their slave trade don't absolve Europeans or the current condition of black people.

The twitter thread comment section is real. There is where people show what they actually think and how they feel about things. Many feel they post "anonymously".

All crazy right wing talking points at one point in time started on social media.

As Black people we love to sit and wait, minimize things until it's late, too late and then take action. Running around confused asking :"what do we do, what can we do, what should we do?".

Long before that there was European doing it to each other. As Greeks, Romans Vikings etc. C00ndecy doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.

:snoop:

Slavery was not created by black men and Muslims. But it was practiced by them even before the TAST. But slavery on the continent and slavery in the Americas were 2 very different things. It was not nearly as brutal or permanent as it was in the Americas. She's purposefully conflating two different things to give colonizers an out. It's not just ignorant, but outright disgusting.

1) Are you a Black person?
2) What African empires was built off of slavery? And how was there chattel slavery on the continent?
3) The Arab Trans Sahara slavery was predominantly East African. The Western Trans Atlantic slavery was predominantly West- Central West African.
4) Arabs weren’t in the Americas to do what has happened to Black people in the Americas.

We need to start bushing Candace Owens threads on this site.

No offence to OP.

She is just a poison. She can't be saved. Let her die in exile.

The point is not to save her. The point is to expose her. This woman wanted Black people to Blaxit, while she’s using white supremacy (right wing rhetoric.

The danger of Candace Owens' platform is not in how many Black people listen to her; I assume the numbers are negligible.

The danger of Candace Owens' platform is in how many White people listen to her, and use her as a human talisman to ward off accusations of racism.

"See, she agrees with me, and she's Black!" :jawalrus:

Unfortunately, she won't go away if we ignore her. She needs to have her talking points completely refuted and de-legitimized in an open fashion, and in a medium that she cannot control.
