But there is an endless amount of academic and historical fact that the slavery of Africa was more like indentured servitude. Your tribe lost a battle, you became a servant until you paid off your debt and could leave...basically. This concept existed in Europe and other continents as well. In fact, many of the "regular" Pilgrims who came to America were indentured servants, paying off their debts to companies or even the British crown.

Slavery in the Middle East was more violent and ugly...but ultimately our concept of "chattel slavery" comes from Spain. IE white men, enslaving Africans and South Americans and subjecting them to brutal conditions.

If Congo is your claim you need to do better homework, because the Belgium king Leopold was not African. If you mean the South African regime etc. Those people weren’t and aren’t Africans. If you mean modern day chocolate plantations, cobalt facilities etc. These are due to westen imperialism by western multinational. And these African nations aren’t wealthy, so that argument makes no sense. Perhaps you need to look into “The Berlin Conference”?
