This was debunked a long time ago. People like to cherry-pick a few Jewish merchants and ship owners and then exaggerate their role, while ignoring the massive scale of European imperial powers who dominated the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

I don't get why some folks are so eager to deflect blame from the real architects -- the European empires -- to push a conspiracy that history doesn't back up.
