easy to say you dont want or need a belt when you are mandated to fight someone you dont want to fight. be it that you are scared of them or they dont bring no money to the table.

What constraints did the WBC put in place?
This may be a way for canelo to make a ridiculous offer then still act like he wanted the fight. Dropping the belt means he's not obligated to make the fight regardless what he says to the media. We'll see what happens but I'm not taking this at face value
