Greg Olson from the '04 period so he dont count..since joinin the ACC the NFL production ain't been shyt compared to FSU
We've been putting better talent in the league then UM since '06...once we got out our slump in '10 we furthered that gapwell yeah, the premise of my point was the talent we WERE putting out from the mid 80s to mid 2000s. You can't deny that if you are unbiased.
obviously in the last 5-7 years, FSU has been putting more talent in the league, but I wouldn't say our talent hasn't been shyt compared to yours. We still put good players in the league, the problem is, because of shytty coaching, these guys dont have amazing careers while they are at Miami.

Broderick Bunkley, Kam Wimbley, Leon Washington, Geno Hayes had better careers than everyone on that UM list from '06 to '09 except Hester, Beason, and CampbellI actually looked this up because I was curious...2006-2010 below. I would say Miami had slightly more talent come out actually. I highlighted the names of the players who actually had good careers
2010 onwards, you can do the same comparison and I think FSU would win, but not by a HUGE margin like you seem to be claiming.

That is because they got the central FL redneck population locked downSuccess wise, I wanna say FSU because their lows weren't as bad as ours (UM) have been since the mid-2000s
Popularity wise, Canes & Noles are neck and neck.....oddly enough I don't meet too many Gator fans & don't see Gator merch worn as much as the other 2
Miami got no division titles?Miami ain't been shyt except for about 3 years in the entire time I've been alive
You can't lose 8 straight and still be #1
Until y'all win the Coastal I ain't tryna hear that tomfoolery![]()

there's actually no reason that a small private school should have more accolades or have a winning record vs 2 state schools with far bigger enrollments, far more alumni, far more money...but here we are. even after Miami's decade of being down, Miami STILL leads in all categories.
put together the all time Hurricanes team, and they beat the all time seminoles and all time gators
rank the best teams of a time out of the schools and Miami comes out on top of that as well
Because it's pretty much inarguable. The numbers don't lie. 5 > 3, and Miami has done it with a foothold in pop culture (which is what happens when a school is in an urban center versus a college town and is successful, look what being a de facto Chicago school does for Notre Dame ). You can argue night and day about who is #2 between FSU and UF, but all non-Gator fans would say FSU #2 if only because FSU never made excuses about scheduling Miami, and didn't veto them joining their conference
Gators refusing to schedule Miami every year is reason alone for them to be #3.
Of course, hilariously, when it comes to fanbase in the state numbers wise, it's FSU/UF neck and neck and Miami a distant third.
Then, Bowden told the story of how Florida State joined the ACC in the early 1990s instead of the SEC. Bowden’s reasoning was that Florida State would have had a tough time winning a national championship if it had to go through the SEC.
"I felt that it was too difficult to win through the SEC to win a national championship," Bowden told Finebaum. "I felt like our best route would be to go through the ACC and that did prove out to be correct. I don’t know if we could have made it through the SEC."
