That's not true at all. People actually heard that bullshyt Can I Bus album and unfortunately paid for it.

Rip The Jacker was nowhere near as known or popular. It sold practically nothing. With that said, it certainly revitalized interest in Canibus among underground "lyricism" heads who thought Canibus was done. The type that bumped Jedi Mind Tricks.
People forget the hype train behind Bis first 2 albums

I still consider prime Canibus the greatest lyricist of all time. His influence is extremely strong in my music. I consider myself a disciple of his, but real talk everything he's dropped AFTER Rip the Jacker album has been wack bro. Lyrically his flow is gone and he spits way too much army/military/thesaurus rhymes that either make no sense or require Google to understand, and that ain't hip hop to me bruhs.

The EPs, mixtape(s), and albums and collab projects after RtJ have been solid...you didn't like Undergods? Cloak-n-Dagga? Lyrical Law? C of Tranquility?

I literally didn't like them at all bro. They serve as reminders of just how far he is from his prime. Canibus' features, freestyles and projects before RtJ are what I listen to monthly. I feel any TRUE Bis fan knows he changed his style and lyrical subject matter and not for the better.

Its his beats

Bis needed a rza level producer to give him what he needed

Wyclef is a great producer but not for a battle rapper like canibus

Imagine canibus over some of those 4th disciple killarmy beats

Canibus vs warcloud vs killa sin vs priest

Woulda been a crazy era had he gone that route.

He got tons of material over other dope beats. He could be living better off the mixtape drops but I get it. Can't always rap over someone else's stuff.

He does, but like rae , he seems to have a type, and without someoen telling him he need to change it up some, he defaults to type and his albums get like half love snd half ehhhh

Some of these guys if you sat down and elimated 1/4 of the stuff they dropped, their career would look totally different. But try telling them that.

Canibis an ughh legend tho but i understand why he dont get love his talent should give him

Theres artists who people champion more, with less talent, but better managed wndmore opportunities for greater production. Take that away from them, and canibus might be better

yeah his new flow is terrible. It's like a spoken word type of poetry spitting off beat.
