Because he lost a rap battle. :leon::dwillhuh:

You arent hiphop, sorry.

Afraid you're doin' a bit of downplaying of what actually happened there bucko.

"Lost a rap battle" implies that both Canibus and Diz went at it, traded some cool bars and Diz came out on top, but at least Canibus was able to live up to the hype.

That wasn't what happened.

Canibus struggled through the whole first round, and then in the second round, called it quits, conceded to Dizaster, and then decided to pull out a notepad and read AND he actually had the audacity to be like "Yo guys, don't y'all wanna hear this $hit?"

I liked Canibus, but what happened in that battle is probably one of the biggest Ls in rap period. I wouldn't blame a long-time fan of Canibus for $hitting on him.

Huge Bis fan here. After the battle I am torn. I can't really listen to him talk about battling MCs afyer what happened. Not cause he lost, cause he choked and froze up. Seriously, what MC doesn't haveseveral verses memorized that they can spit in a cypher? You should be able to go ten rounds with zero time to prepare.

Im beginning to see what Canibus did with this album. He wrote 10000 bars that all rhyme and then layered them across different tracks at different times so no matter where he punches in, it rhymes sorty like how he did on poet luareate infinity but across a whole album. Its impressive and technically sound. THis is why i think im going to be hearing canibus talking about losing the battle so many times because he wrote about it often throughout these 10000 bars.

Track 4 has a nice beat with an Alex Jones commentary and unfortunately Alex sounds like hes cutting a WWE promo. Canibus punching in his verses at different points doing more of that infinity stuff but you know, i cant say im really impressed by this friend because the lyrics dont really seem to be making a lot of profound sense. Basically Canibus is saying . I lost the battle but im still great and life is hard. :yeshrug:

Yea you will hear the same lines you heard in other songs here again because of the punchins. They are beginning to wear me down. The Jones WWE promo about demonic beings and demons is more motivating then anything Canibus is saying here unfortunately.

Sounds confusing. I recognize it as one of the most brilliant concepts ever, but I onlywas listened to PL Infinity for like 120 seconds. Poor Bis. Too smart for his own good.

He was having a bad day. Show a little more understanding.

This is something a fan made it's not his album. The thing with the infinity concept is anyone can mix their own songs and make entire albums from the original songs. The infinity means a infinite amount of songs can be made by the mixing process. Brilliant actually.

Track 5 is where we come to Canibus rapping over Runaway. Hes explaining what he did with the album as far as writing 10000 bars and mixing them around in a way that makes them all rhyme. He is really impressed with himself. Canibus is telling people that he loves God and we should be good people and enhance our rhyme skills by writing alot of bars and aprpeciate the work writers put into writing very well thought out projects.

Track 7 has a nice somber beat that makes friends feel like "awww man, life is so tough because of all the demonic individuals out there that separate friends from God. Aww darnit" The mixer is again harping on canibus losing the battle. Here canibus is made to say that he loves hiphop and life is hard but life goes on. I'll keep this song because it makes me think about things that need to be pondered in a melancholy way.
