It hurts my heart so much to see how far Canibus has fallen off. I still consider him the greatest lyricist of all time based SOLELY off his material during his prime. I intend to continue his legacy tho of superior lyricism in my own music.

Bis makes solid albums like Rip The Jacker, FWTBT, and now this ( i haven't gotten around to the album, but im hearing mixed reviews). he needs to regain focus

It's okay. And I don't mean that as a diss. He makes some cool points about capitalism over a pretty good beat. His flow is clunky and doesn't ride that well over the beat. But it's still Canibus. Vocab is >>> than most.

@W.I.Z.E. i honestly dont think bis ever was a great hook writer, even on RTJ the hooks were weak imo, not taking anything away from him
cause like you said, he still has bars. he needs to regain focus like @IronFist said. and call up some solid producers (Stoupe, Blue Sky Black Death)

this is something ive notice, I havent heard Lyrical Law but Melatonin Magick had some beats i wasnt feeling and C of Tranquility as well. Solid lyrics (as always ) but production

Funny thing is, I notice that most great lyricists are not great hook writers. Rakim, Gza, Priest, Crooked I
