First listened to some track off of Madvilliany a few years back and while I thought they were good l thought his flow was too unorthodox and I didn't really understand what he was talking about but then I heard this fan mix the other day

And have been listening to him non stop was reading about his come up this guy really is a legend can't believe I've been sleeping so long I'm a comic book nerd too so it's surprising how I ain't really pay attention to him all these years dude quickly becoming an all time favorite with the material I've heard

Honestly took me a while to catch on to Mf dooms greatness. I couldn't catch the slang at first and some of the shyt was just so unorthodox. It's worth listening to though because once it clicks, you can't go back. Dude is pure genius on the beats and on the mic . Legend fa real

I didn't mess with Doom until Madvilliany.. Besy decision I've ever made lol, but nah dude is super dope to me! He will hit you with them lines that make you have to rewind to make sure you heard what you thought you heard.

When i heard Saliva off vik vaughn, i became a fan but when madvillan dropped i remember only liking certain songs like accordion but wasnt feelin the rest

But like OP said, once you get it you GET it; it was like a switch was flipped. Madvillain now one of my fav albums ever and dooms performance was masterful.

I hadnt loved a hip hop album like madvillainy since supreme clientele or the cold vein. shyt is immaculate.
