Its human psychology...the sad thing is that Paul Walker had more of an impact on people's lives then someone they never heard of

People will be sad when something personally affects them, and not seeing a familiar face in movies will bring more sadness to someone than hearing the local news story of a murder

i'm not sure that makes people bad but its just a human nature thing i think...i think people can be empathetic but we are built not to cry over every tragedy in the world because then we couldn't function if we cried over every murder or travesty that happens in a day to day basis
