Cant Connect to playstation store - stuck on "please wait" ???

hey yall i need ya help...after the ps4 2.0 update i try to connect to the store and it just says "please wait" idk whats wrong. i got a new quad today and updated it and tried to go to the store and its the same shyt. i coiuld see live streams and friends online so idk why its not working. i called the number and they said they doing maintenance but i see nikkas playing online so what the deal yall> help me out
