Yes the Gambinos were an enemy to Italians.How old are you??? Italian people who lived in NY/ NJ during that time hated what they were doing to they community. They lived in fear. People from that generation despise them. One of my closest friends in the military is Italian and ge talked about this and how his family and people in they community was scared unlike what’s portrayed on movies and tv. Extortion , drug dealing, murder, and robbery. The good doesn’t outweigh the destruction you bring to the community. Let’s stop with that find a way to make money. I’m from the projects like many people on here. So horrible excuse. A lot of us from the hood so we knew that same feeling of hopelessness, but we applied ourselves so we could benefit our community. So why does everybody else in the hood work 9-5s (or other shifts) at real jobs. Most people are making a honest living despite living in the hood trying to raise they children in a safe environment and provide for them. But these grown ass men are exempt from that. Gtfoh. They think they better than working those jobs so choose to sell drugs to they people. These are selfish individuals who chose a life of fast money over they love for they community. Most blue collar jobs don’t require no college degrees and shyt. BMF were adults not little 16 year old kids hustling who might not know better. About everybody came from the mud from single mothers.That’s a played out excuse that children make

You can't entirely place blame of the destruction of the black community on one man. What about the people that were buying the drugs from him? Should they get the same type of hate y'all have for Meech?
One thing I respect Meech for is how he got black people across the country working together and making money. I can't respect him as a drug kingpin tho.

But this is a weak excuse… every dealer has a responsibility; it doesn't matter if the user was already hooked or not.
