Jail? nah. But should it be held against them in job interviews or other walks of life? sure. Racists should be pointed out in society and have a sign above their heads that says "uses N-word"

IMO it is "Freedom of Speech" within the confines of yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. You can't just say whatever you want without potentially endangering others.
Me and two others were charged in the military for racism. We were arrested and we close to getting article 15s. I don't believe in censorship at all. Whites aren't the result of genetic mutation??
Anyway... we wrote rap songs.. A CAC actually reported the song; one of the songs used the word n!gga a lot, we were hit with using racist slurs.. AND we were all black. It was pretty ironic because most of the leadership was pretty racist.
Regardless, no one would ever admit this but there is a difference between some poster saying "crakas" these kids. Even the whites not making the comments are probably racist saying sh1t like
"due to "social pressures" in his small town, which, however, do not keep him from "dating an African."

The irony americans got this illusion of free speech. Theres nothing I could think of a reasonable person wanting to say that wont be allowed. I never even thought about the constraints on what I would wanna say.

Let's be real, America has much broader free speech protection than any country on the planet. That's just a fact. Part of it is that their country is more internally peaceful and stable and all that so they don't need them, so I'm not saying it would work for all countries, but it works for them. US social mores on public TV are different from this issue. There are no criminal charges involved.

Not advocating it being illegal or limiting ones viewpoints for the sake of being PC, but there should be a team of anti-hate web goons to go after these ignorant and racist tweeters. Public outrage and Internet activism could create more accountability and have the idiots thinking twice before tweeting some dumb shyt. Don't let these people hide behind a computer screen but put them and their personal information in the spotlight for the rest of the Internet community to justly abuse. Point them out to the world and muddy their chances at potential schools, jobs, and social groups. Harass and make them feel the hate they chose to broadcast to the world by having them own up to their words.
Op is not american, i dont think you understand just how important the idea of free speech is here. Americans would probably riot if they thought that was taken away.
