What do those games have anything to do with dead rising? Dead Rising 2 was trash, so was the first. Their fun for about 30 minutes then once the novelty wears off of killing lots of zombies on screen the game collects dust.
Thats how I felt about Dead Rising 1.. wasn't for me
Dead Rising 2 I passed on because of it. Now that I have it for free? I tried it and really enjoyed myself for about 30mins. So total time I spent on the series total? Maybe an hour and a half?
So I personally am not in a position to say if its good or not as a series. Just that pt.2 I liked for a moment

Now you said what does those other games have to do with DR3? Well, those are the games in competition with it, and none of them compare to DR3 in terms of people who played them. Not fanboys, but websites universally have said DR3 is Maaaaaaad fun, while they all say the PS4 lineup is Meeeeeeediocre
