Classic album!

The thing I always think about, when someone mentions this album, is that when it dropped...I played NOTHING else!

When I was a kid, I used to have one of those little CD wallets that held like 10 discs. After Pun dropped this, I was only taking this CD outside and not even bringing the CD wallet with me. LOL!! That's how much I loved this album. I wouldn't even take it out the damn Discman.

Right?

My nikka I was such a Pun fan, I had an airbrushed Pun t shirt my cousin got me one year for Christmas lol

Same here haha

I had the tape first then got the CD

I think I’ve owned like 5 copies this album because either it got so scratched up or stolen from me lol

Pun just had to all and that album captures him in his element and at the peak of his powers

Classic album, but no way its a top 10 album from the 90’s from any region or just NYC alone and definitely not a top 50 all time either.

And this is not disrespectful to say that.

i might even add top 3 hip hop album of all time. Personally, the moment i heard the album i wouldn't let it go. Had everything you wanted in an album "Boomerang" being one of my personal favorites along with "tres leches", "Beware", "dream shatterer", "you came up", "punish me". Might just go bump it again :blessed:

HAHA!! People were always stealing albums in the 90's.

Pun was something else with the lyrics. Just all kinds of gymnastics and wizardry on the mic. We still haven't heard anybody rap like he did. Dude was gifted as a MF! I still play this album all the time. It's one of those projects that people don’t talk about enough.

You need to add more content to the Carly Irsay thread in JBO :feedme:

After getting some bullshyt for that thread over the weekend, i’mma fall back from updating it. Besides I get tired of adding pictures and nothing but bickering starts up and nobody else contributes. So yeah I’m done with that.

Oh they definitely used LAD as a blueprint

I only see nikkas hate skits THESE days

Skit was funny

I miss when skits were apart of albums

I have the same smoke for all those west coast albums; the theme of most of these skits is hilarious when you're a teenager......BUT.......

its cringy as an adult to hear these....

quickly having to hit skip :francis:

at least they didn't actually ADD then to the track :manny:

Honestly I understand if someone says that

Especially if you my age (39) and grew up in the 90’s
