I think he's going through a stage (he is only 19 after all). He had a traumatic situation with that hallucinogen and it's making him reconsider everything. He's still in the learning stage. I think it will pass (I hope so, for his sake).

definitely why I don't think doing a psychedelic trip would do anything for me besides realize I flushed my biology with exogenous substances that made my brain go nuts.

Oh, I strongly support hallucinogens. I'm of the Steve Jobs mindset. That shyt changes you forever. It can be very traumatic though (very, very in some cases). I learned a lot with mushrooms. They're not for everybody though, and I can definitely see that.
