I don't know how much this is true cause Wu was definitely in LA.

I think the reason he took the stand was as a plea to a situation he had. It was probably swept under a rug, cause he's Pone and Black got off; so all he had to say was he lied and they both home. For the record, Pone also took the stand at the D-Roc trial, but everyone got labelled a snitch but Pone.
