I didn't read the book, my brother has it though, but didn't he say he got knocked out in damn near every altercation, was crying after a few, chain snatched, and always had a "could've would've should've" part at the end? If anything, that was as unbiased as one could be in telling a story, and those aren't W's.
As for the street ish, these stories were already public, maybe not for a younger generation but for older ones. The streets always know and telling decades old stories is all dudes on the blocks do anyway. He was there for most of that stuff. He was at Killa Black's trial that Pone admittedly took the stand on, he was there when they jumped Trag and Nore...maybe not for all of the shootouts later though...and he takes an L in the rest. But with the Infamousstores.com stories, especially the shootout ones, he did say that dudes don't even talk about it, so I understand re-opening of old wounds...but they prob aren't wounds. The only one with a legitimate gripe was Mike Delorean.
But seriously, does anyone pay attention to Lakey? That dude done told hella stories implicating hella names in dirt done, on wax and camera...once he started revealing his face. LOL
cnn are pillars of the ny community, they should be held in the same prestige that my southern brothers hold ugk/8ball and mjg in, but these new ny negus out here, with the exception of a few, are so lost and lack identity that dudes like pone and nore fall 2 the wayside. but g-shyt, this was easily one of the most entertaining breakfast club interviews hands down, good 2 see these dudes still be in tune with each other after bein in the game so long, it showed during this interview. i completely agree with nore as well on a resurgence on consciousness in rap as well, u can still be cool kickin game and droppin jewels, as long as cats aint tryna be all preachy...................but salute c.n.n. 4 not waistin 40 minutes of my life
