I'd say DMX "It's Dark..." Was the last true NYC street album...unless you wanna consider stuff like the QB's Finest, or 41st Side Compilation, or even CNN's Invincible
I say War Report is considered more NY street album. DMX Sound wasn't traditional street rap from NY. It was a whole new style of it.

You could say X's album was the last but for me, it was CNN's. That were the last of that East Coast shyt as i saw it. But then again, I was never THAT big into X's music
Don't get me wrong, I fukk with X but I was never THAT big of a fan like a lot of nikkas I knew was
So for me, The War Report ends an era, even though CNN and X's albums came out back to back and even though X had been around before his album even dropped
But to me, CNN was just that straight up street shyt like it was more so 93' to 95' shyt than it was 97' shyt if you feel what I'm saying
