cappa prob didnt have a budget for them beats or hes trying to put other people on

every cappa verse aint going be like that classic winter warz verse

the beats probably wont match the pillage 1 album but hopefully this shyt is dope

man that shyt was ehhhh

that was around the time when cappadonna started strictly spitting non-sensical rhymes exclusively.

Yea Cap totally lost it on the Pillage but it still was a very entertaining album because of the beats and features. Most Wu fans consider it one of the better Wu projects during those first few years post Wu-Tang Forever.

I'll agree it has good production, but cappadonna's rhymes are not good by any means. I was a wu tang stan back when that dropped, so I of course copped, but I'm not clammoring to hear him rhyme in 2015 when he's damn near 20 years past his prime.

I hear you. Cap was only really nice to me for like a 2 year clip. He has his moments here and there but for the most part he's :francis:

That said, he does still have some entertaining albums. Hook Off and The Pilgimage were very solid. Again, mostly because of the beats.

Lol. Pillage wasn't a classic but it was a damn good album. I wish Deck was given those beats. Deck over those Pillage beats would've been :blessed:

I put the Pillage up there with my top albums of all time... Classic to me... Maybe because Ghost and Cap were my two favorites...

Pillage is a really dope album, breh. Ghost and Cap really had a nice chemistry during that time, even after Cap fell off lyrically. I guess it was the off the wall, colorful slang and energy they both had.

True, one of the post-Forever albums I listened to the most...

the pillage is one of the better Wu solos. I know hes not in Wu but he is. Honestly, The Pillage is one of my most listened to Wu-Tang related albums i own. The beats on that are some of the best to come out of that camp
