Earlier in the movie, Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito) stabbed Sam multiple times, and Sam didn't even react or seemingly feel anything lol. He also "recovered" in no time. They also had breh surfing a missile in the ocean. Sam is clearly superhuman


Anyway, the "calming him down" scene felt empty and weightless to me. The only interaction Ross had in the movie with Betty before that scene was a brief, awkward phone call. Made worse by the fact that Harrison Ford is a recast since William Hurt passed away. So I felt nothing watching that.

They explain it later in the movie. Sidewinder asks how he is moving around after being stabbed. Sam said he was wearing some sort of kevlar weave

Usually you need a sentry level power or omega level psychic to calm hulk down, not these little tricks

And in the MCU, Natasha used "the sun is getting low"

Hulk can be calmed numerous ways. Plus, they Hulks all have different power sets. Ross is in control of his Hulk form, maintains his intelligence, and gives off heat. So, by his next appearance, he'll probably be more in lines with She-Hulk - who they've already established as a Hulk with different powers.

Hulk can be calmed numerous ways. Plus, the Hulks all have different power sets. Ross is in control of his Hulk form, maintains his intelligence, and gives off heat. So, by his next appearance, he'll probably be more in lines with She-Hulk - who they've already established as a Hulk with different powers.

Bruhs are just yapping at this point lol. Yes this movie has plenty of flaws. But inconsistency in power levels isn’t one of them. When Falcon never physically beats Ross. And there’s been plenty of ways that Hulk been calmed throughout comic book media.

This complaint is the reason the original hulk was ruined. They didn't want to the fans complaining about him calming down. So they were force to have him get beat up in every movie.

I could actually buy Natasha calming Bruce down because of their level of friendship then, not so much with Sam and Ross here.

When you say original Hulk, are you talking about the 03 Hulk or 08 Hulk? Because 08 is one of the best final showdowns in superhero films, let alone Marvel movies.
