What was so bad about the film ? :unimpressed:

Enlighten me ?

The Leader was very well written if you took someone to see this that wasn’t into comic books their mind was definitely racing trying to pin point who brainwashed Isiah Bradley and the others

So tell me what was so bad ?

The fight and action sequences are up to par what was horrible about the movie? :unimpressed:
I never said that the film was bad, just "average" or "mediocre". Anyway, I've already made multiple posts in this thread sharing my opinion on the film.

It was very well written I know you have trouble seeing Captain America as Black Man you filthy Cac but get used it :wow:

No it wasn't lol, and this is coming from somebody who enjoyed the film overall.

Malcom Spellman is a mediocre writer, period. No hate, he's passable but he did exactly what I thought he'd do with the material he was given. When I heard that one of the writers from Empire was doin F&TWS I knew it was gonna be shakey on that front, no different with the movie.

You can get away with that to an extent if everything else is tight. I wouldn't say this film hit that mark.

Explain what was so bad about it then? :unimpressed:

The Leader was very well written and the twists and turns were good if you took someone who wasn’t familiar with comic books the suspense was great

The build up to the red hulk fight was good as well for climatic end of the movie

So please enlighten what was so bad about the movie ? :unimpressed:

- The pacing was off
- A lot of the dialog was weak
- Sabre and her like 9-10 minutes of screen time being an unessecery and controversal distraction

And given the trailer I dunno how much suspense there actually was, even for people who might be green on the source material

Come to Death Row DC breh :lolbron:

I'm more of a DC guy from the comics and cartoons to begin with. I'm interested on if they can make things better.

I checked out after the Snyder movie BvS:DoJ. They did Death of Superman and The Dark Knight Returns in the same movie. Those are down the road storylines. They used it for the second appearance of Superman:why:.

They also used it for the 1st time Batman and Superman ever appear on screen together:snoop:

*Edited sentences for clarity. I was so upset remembering what they did, I'm not even sure what I said was in English.

It was linear film that told one complete story that the Leader set up, every moment was planned by the main villain even had a contingency when Red Hulk didn’t come out when he initially intended :unimpressed:

The dialogue was definitely better in the second half of the film than thrfirst half some lines did feel a little flat :ehh:

Sabre being there added no controversy, liberals were reaching as no pro Israel propaganda was even remotely associated with the film, so I don’t understand how she can even be considered a distraction :unimpressed:

Watching the film and having no prior knowledge to the comic books it would definitely be suspenseful, no one is watching and immediately thinking it’s gotta be some superhuman level intellect pulling strings behind the scenes so the President can become a disgrace that’s why Cap and the new falcon went to retrieve the adamantium :unimpressed:

Just got back from seeing this, thought it was solid. Mackie is likeable in the Capt role and some of the aerial combat and use of the shield was fun, but not a whole lot to make it really stand out in a sea of comic book films. I did like his relationship with Isiah Bradley though.

Just got back from seeing it myself. I enjoyed it :yeshrug: .

I thought it was a solid film. Maybe it's because I was expecting it to be terrible due to negative reviews. After seeing it, I truly do not understand all the hate. It's actually one of the better MCU movies as of late.
