One of the many issues that I had was Sam’s powers. Sam is not enhanced. He should not be able to fight as well as he does nor be as strong as an enhanced individual. He should always be aided by technology like Iron man.
Where was the humor?
Where did the bond between Sam and Isaiah originate?
Why did they make the Cuban guy so corny?
Who the fukk is Harrison Ford’s character and what is his motivation for redemption? We don’t even know who his daughter is or what he did wrong and we are supposed to care about their relationship?
How did Sam survive a goddamn grenade in the car?
Substituting Japan for China was such a p*ssy ass move by the mouse.
So Sam is supposed to be able to kick missles in the air and dunk them in the ocean?
I missed the TV show and haven’t kept up with recent Marvel movies so maybe some of these questions were answered, but you can’t expect the audience to watch every marvel content put out in order to understand a movie.
I put this up there with the second Wonder Woman in terms of execution and story telling.

Nobody watches an arnold movie and thinks. Man predator and terminator would be so much better if they had more jokes.
I have no problem with comic book movies taking them seriously. The problem here is they did go for the laughs. Plenty of times especially the banter between Sam and Cuban dude and Isaiah, they all just fell flat.
This is a failure by Marvel Studios. They decided to make Brave New World a partial sequel to 2008's The Incredible Hulk. A 17-year-old movie that barely anyone remembers or cares for.
Harrison Ford plays Thunderbolt Ross, who was played by the late William Hurt in the 2008 Hulk film (and other MCU movies). So it was a recast. Liv Tyler played Betty Ross (Thunderbolt Ross's daughter) in the 2008 Hulk film.
Brave New World was following up on the storyline of their relationship from that film, but once again... nobody cares or remembers lol.
There was the show Falcon and the Winter Soldier (which I didn't watch). That show will answer some of your questions, I guess.

It’s one thing to follow the infinity stones storyline across one medium. It’s another to be expected to remember what happened in the 2008 movie and expect us to keep up with what happened on the TV shows.
