People don't say ish about Batman fighting far super/meta human villains. Sam doesn't need it...

mackie does. he is the limited canvas. (and the director/script).

I really think that Isaiah Bradley's, should have been the only plot point. They could've did the Red Hulk build up and tease, but not the reveal. Serpent Society (not just Sidewinder) and the Leader work just fine as villains, with Isaiah being collateral damage of the plot, just because. Sam fights for the people, all of the individual people that Rogers doesn't acknowledge because he's focused on the bigger picture. Him going through hoops to save Isaiah, against all of the political implications is the perfect Falcon-Cap movie. All of the seeds were there, and often hinted to, but they just didn't water them enough.

Went and saw this in the movies on Saturday because my lady fashions herself an MCU Stan and she was treating for a change. Normally I'd watch this at the crib. I spent most of the movie tight because the theater fukked up our food order and didn't bring mine out til the shyt was almost over. She got hers maybe halfway. We probably wouldn't have gotten that if I didn't get up to go beef with the kitchen and extort them for a free beer and large popcorn for my inconvenience. I was gone for a minute but shorty said I didn't miss anything which I found....disturbing. Like duke aint even change to Red Hulk yet?? Just knew I was gonna miss it. So I left the theater feeling underwhelmed. But I wasn't sure if it was because I watched the movie mad as fukk basically the whole time.

So I watched it at home yesterday while I was off. Sidenote the rip I watched was super clear and the audio was pristine! I'm glad it wasn't MY $ spent in the theater lol.

It was just aight. I'm not gonna call it wack or trash, but it is the least of the Cap movies and this is NOWHERE NEAR Winter Soldier. I'm black den a mufugga too but there's no need to lie!

shyt that bugs me:
- The Black Captain America thing period. Like Isaiah told him in FAWS...A real nikka wouldn't even take that job. I waited all series for Sam to prove him wrong but the house nikkatry continued and continues in the movie.

- No love interests for Sam and Joaquin but they really enjoyed each others company. The big smiles. The stares. Finding a way to end up touching for some reason in most scenes. Seemed a lil

- Sabra was mad random. "chief of security"? For the president? Not secret service tho? Yeah aight. And where in the fukk did find this female Gnome and cast her?? Too bad Gal Gadot can't act her way out of a wet paper bag, this was her role!

- Isaiah's hair. Why? Why they do us like this? That shyt was mad unnecessary.

- Like my guy on ScreenCrush on Youtube said, the whole movie was told in the previews. We knew who Red Hulk was and when he would turn. They used him in all the promo but was only in the final fight scene. This movie came off scattered and I see now it's because of reshoots and too many writers. This is Ant-Man 1 status. Or is it? I had no expectations for Ant Man 1 and ended up enjoying it. I had expectations for this and ended up disappointed.

Also, if they wanted to have a female "Captain Israel" in this movie, then they should've just made Brave New World, a teamup film with "Captain" heroes from other countries (like Captain Britain, Guardian (Canadian Cap), Hauptmann Deutschland (German Cap), Cap'n Oz (Australian Cap), etc.).

That would've been more fun

There's A LOT of bad acting in this movie.

Poorly delivered lines, stiff acting, and BAD editing, PERIOD.

This movie literally feels like 3 or 4 different movies spliced together really bad. It definitely looks and feels like the screeners destroyed this or what it could have been.

It wants to be The Winter Soldier but it's clearly not. It wants to be Iron Man but Mackie lacks the charisma of RDJ as Tony Stark. It wants to be Black Panther but it doesn't feel like a "Black" movie. It wants to be a Hulk movie but TBH, we got ONE decent Hulk movie and Edward Norton got pulled so our Hulk has largely been a nerfed simp for the past decade.

I just want to move on to Daredevil and Thunderbolts.

Those will cleanse the palate and prep us for Fantastic Four.

Yeah, Mackie has more charisma in press junkets than he does when it’s actually time to film a movie.

Get that bag I guess, but I dunno why Harrison Ford signed up for this shyt. Tim Blake Nelson, too. He could’ve been working with the Coens or something instead. I refuse to acknowledge that was The Leader.
