this is intentional, it's for homologation so the fuel mileage is higher for CAFE purposes. post your car and i'll see if there's an easy workaround, tho i'd only turn it off if you find taking left turns at busy intersections annoying, or if it does some dumb shyt like disable your a/c.Every day I have to turn it off if I don't want it on because the next day it reactivates.
afaik nobody's found a single example of a starter dying cause of it yet, here's some nerd shyt about itI mean the wife is getting 36mpg on her Rav4. So saving some good money with it but I don't know if the starter is gona go out quicker

you can buy stuff on aliexpress that will disable it permanently
You can turn it off through vehicle settings. No need to spend money.
