An early 2000’s TL looks new. I got this Lexus because it looks newer. Whenever I do get another car it will probably be a newer GS for under 10k

Youre not looking in the right places. I see plenty of used cars for $25k and less. Go to True Car website and do a search

Found my Jeep Cherokee for a little less than 25k on cars.com. You can definitely find something nice on those sites. I’m paying more than I wanted for the note but I can afford it so it’s cool. I can’t imagine paying a thousand for a note let alone over that

Yea 1000 a month on a car payment sounds wild. I pay a little over 7 a month for mine, but it’s fully electric and I haven’t put a dime towards gas in months. You would have to be crazy to get above a G for anything other than a luxury vehicle.

That's just a glimpse at America's financial literacy. Paying over a $1000 per month for a vehicle is a no-no if you no making minimum $6k a month after taxes. Rent/Mortgage + car note & insurance sounds like nearly $3k a month for most in that video. I know damn well they're not making $6k per month. They have no financial room to breath if an unexpected expense pop up.

Why is that bad? All those cars cost over $80k. Expensive cars have higher car notes.

An Expedition isn't 80k, I would understand if it were a Navigator or Escalade.
