be blind and not be able to see a whole tow truck parked right in front of you, brehs....
They are on the express way. The truck had no fukking lights, no cones, no flares down. The cops didn’t have their lights on or anything. All these things exists specifically to avoid something like this happening and none of it was done. At highway speeds people don’t understand how much ground you gain on something that’s stationary. The time it takes for you to process “Is that shyt parked? :what:“ you are probably already too close to do anything about it if you aren’t an exceptionally aware driver. you’d have to have great reflexes to avoid it once you realize something isn’t doing what it’s supposed to be doing.

I didn't hear a brake, guess they were checking a text and got the next flight instead.

Seems pretty clear she was looking at the giant police action, like too many people do. To have a whole tow truck stopped in the middle of a wet freeway with no lights and no cones is some bullshyt though. Your peripheral vision doesn't register anything is different at first, if you're not paying attention then it looks like just another car on the road until you're close.

It wasn't in the middle of a freeway it was just on the edge. Sure the tow truck driver should have put his lights on but you got to be an idiot or just speeding like an idiot to not realise its a parked vehicle.

Good ol America always tryna pass the blame onto someone else tho

:dahell: you talking about "the edge", he's parked right in the middle of a lane of traffic.

Don't you realize that your use of the "someone else" is begging the question?

The authorities violated their own established protocols and make a bad decision that creates an accident, and you decide it's not their fault and pass the blame on to someone else.

I'm more upset at the authorities than at the random citizen, because it's a lot easier to ensure that professionals follow the rules in place to prevent this shyt from happening than ensure that 100 million American drivers are paying perfect attention at all times.

Cause they are to blame. The tow truck bed is probably the same color as the road, and you can tell she didn't see it until the last second. Plus I doubt he was all that far over. No cones, and bed probably blocks the lights at that angle.
