Just purchased a used 2010 Lexus GS. Just wondering what are the weekly, daily, monthly things I should do to keep my car at his highest potential. I know there some car heads up in here, so I was wondering what are the type of things you do too.
In terms of scent too. What are some of the best car freshners yall use. The type of shyt that as soon as a chick comes in she like

Regarding engine maintenance, do these based on mileage, not time.
motor oil: change the oil and oil filter every 4k to 6k
air filter: change the air filter every 10-15K miles. I get a K&N cleanable air filter and clean it instead of replacing it.
coolant/anti-freeze: flush and change every three years.
spark plugs: every 50,000 -75,000 miles
O2 sensors: every 80,000 to 100,000 miles
transmission fluid: every 150,000 miles.
timing belt: 100,000 miles
accessory drive belts: 100,000 miles
power steering fluid: every 100,000 miles
brake fluid: whenever it goes below half way between max and min.
Fuel filter: 100,000 miles
car battery: every 3 - 5 years. Once you have to jump start the battery and you didn't leave any lights or accessories on, it's better to replace it ASAP before you get stuck with a dead battery in no man's land. If it's less than 3 years old, check the alternator.

keep up on the interior, oil changes, scheduled maintenance, only wash it yourself or go to touch less washes and you should be good to go.
