damn rightDamn I’ve never bought from a dealership before.
My credit is in the early 700s. What would be a good down payment for something like a new Accord or Civic?
Dealerships dont want cash deals my guy. They make more money off you financing the car. They will only cash deal a car that they want moved off the lot thats been sitting too long.Broke nikka babble. In what world can't you negotiate a lower price and pay for a car cash at the same time?![]()

How does the dealer make money on the back end, if they get someone a zero interest rate loan?Yeah I can tell you ain’t never buy a car or dealt with a car dealership in your life…
How do you think they make a profit? It definitely ain’t how much cash buyers they have.. all of their profit is tied into bank loans where they can negotiate the interest rate with the bank based on your credit… If you 760+ gang they basically giving you an interest free loan aka FREE money… So smart money ask why are you using your cash to buy a depreciating asset when you can use the bank money to do so? Smarten up Nas, mofos like you coming to the dealer with all cash they feast on dudes like you and overcharge you for a car you can get a discount on 9 times out of 10 just buy throwing the dealership a bone and taking out the loan with them..![]()
Lmao bro a 700 is damn near gold these days. You should be fine.Damn I’ve never bought from a dealership before.

I don’t negotiate anything brotha. I pay what I decided I’m willing to pay for a car and tell them. The source of the money doesn’t matter because it’s a cash check regardless. Because you either got a loan separate from the dealer or paid cash yourself. No reason to finance with the dealer. You don’t make “car note payments” you make loan payments. You must be one of them nikkas that negotiate car deals based on monthly payments...
I have never had a dealer mention financing to me before we finished our negotiating on the price of the car.![]()
They make money directly from the lenders for making you use “their lender” even if the interest is 0% (which it almost never is because so few are qualified for it) They only use lenders that they have negotiated referrals with. How does the dealer make money on the back end, if they get someone a zero interest rate loan?
By adding dealer add ons you know like tinted windows, weather stripping, wheel shine, custom floor mats…How does the dealer make money on the back end, if they get someone a zero interest rate loan?

I could’ve bought my ZL1 cash. The night before I flew to DC to pick it up, I decided to get an unsecured loan for it because my credit is 843 and I can do that. Instead of giving them all that money liquid, I used my banks money and invested much of my $63k I would’ve paid with in Tesla before the split. Car was practically free by the end of the year.
That is how you always win if you’re in the position to do so.
I see you had no response to my post other than to talk about the car. You also sound like you don’t know shyt about cars but trying to real hard. ZL1 is superior to a Z28 and a C8. I just gave you a gem but that shyt went over your head. Do you.Spend over 60k on a Chevy that isn't a Z28 or C8 Vette brehs...::insert smug Kobe smilie::
Both of you are right. There are several avenues to take when negotiating the best price for your car and what you both are speaking on are observed strategies in getting there. It isn’t “broke babble”. It’s just a different path to the same destination.
